Adopt A Cat

Aloha Animal Oasis on the Big Island of Hawaii rescues kittens and socializes them so they are ready to be adopted by the public. All animals adopted out via AAO will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before adoption. Adopters will be screened and evaluated to ensure appropriate pet placement. In addition, we plan to establish ongoing relationships with individuals and organizations on the mainland that will assist us with adopting more animals out from the Big Island.

Would you like to help Big Island cats but can’t physically adopt one? Adopting a cat “in place” is the perfect solution if you love cats but cannot keep one because of severe allergies, “No Pets Allowed” rental agreement policies or inability to care for the pet. For as little as $25 a month, you can ensure that one of our colony cats receives healthy food and fresh water at least once a day. Our feeders not only feed the cats, but they provide love and affection to the ones that crave and ask for it.
